Making preparations to replace
Fedora operating system on the two laptops
with Ubuntu. Acquiring the the data to do so will need
to be done another day due to the large amount of time
needed to do so and the lack of someone to acquire it after the download is
complete. Until a suitable time is set, i will research the process to
successfully replace the system.

Learning to install operating systems is a good project for you. We currently have one computer that is not begin used. You could use that while it is available to practice installing Ubuntu, Debian, and Fedora.
ReplyDeleteI'm not 100% sure yet we are going to replace the Fedora. The problem is that gasp does not run on Ubuntu Karmic, presenting a serious problem. If that gets resolved we'll make the switch ASAP, but until then we should wait.
